InfoForest.eu is a web-based market information system, developed within the project “Hardwoods Are Good – supporting entrepreneurs of the forestry hardwood chain in the South Baltic Region”. The aim of this web-based system is to create internet based business network to enable the participants of the forestry value chain in the South Baltic region to communicate in different levels of the value chain the easiest way. Users can, check how the market is moving (prices and offers), to make new contacts in the South Baltic Region, to check buyer inquiries and supplier offers, to make company and its business better known for others in the market. The system allows to place advertisement about buying/selling of forest and forestry products, to follow actual roundwood market information, etc. All contacts between users of the system happen directly without us acting as intermediary. There are three categories of memberships in the system, depending on what kind of information you provide, how often you visit and use the system. Non-registered users can only see very general information: in order to see more specific information you must become a registered user of the system.
